About the event
Great Outdoor Adventures is committed to the holistic wellness of girls between the ages 8-16. We accomplish this through an array of wellness programming. We offer a 2 -week full day summer camp. Participants will explore the Great Outdoors with our amazing team of wellness practitioners who will expose youth to the therapeutic and beauty of Nature in DC and surrounding counties. Our programming includes but not limitied to: Equine Facilitated Learning, Horsemanship, Basic riding instruction, mindfulness (yoga, meditation, journaling), Art Therapy, Nutrition Literacy, Creative arts (sewing, jewelry making, candle making etc.), Hiking, Boating safety, Anacostia River tours and more...
