We’re looking for artwork that:

  • Honors the legacy of Black cowboys, cowgirls, and equestrians

  • Explores the symbolic and emotional power of horses

  • Centers themes of freedom, movement, heritage, and healing

  • Pushes the narrative forward through bold visual storytelling

Submission Guidelines:

  • Theme: Work must clearly engage with equestrian themes (horses, riders, Black equestrian life, the human–horse connection, etc.)

  • Eligible Media: Painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, sculpture, digital art

Submission Limit: Up to 3 works per artist

Submission Deadline: August 10, 2025

Display Details: Selected work will be featured during the Black Equestrian Summer Bash on August 31, 2025, with opportunities for artist recognition and on-site sales.

Why Submit?

  • Be part of a movement that centers Black stories in equestrian spaces

  • Gain exposure in front of a diverse, multigenerational audience

  • Celebrate your artistry in a setting rooted in community, creativity, and culture
